Regeneration Mode

Periodically, each module will enter regeneration mode, where the CO2 and contaminants captured by the sorbent filters are released from the filter and exhausted outdoors.

In regeneration mode, return air continues to pass through the module, but the clean air damper closes and an exhaust damper opens. An electric heater within the module raises the internal temperature of the filters, which releases the captured contaminants, including CO2, and exhausts it out of the building.
