Electronic Expansion Valve

Rebel comes standard with an Electronic Expansion Valve. A traditional thermal expansion valve maintains superheat that prevents any liquid from entering the compressor by utilizing a sensing bulb in the suction line. The response time of these valves is slow, requiring a large amount of the coil to provide superheat. The instantaneous response of an Electronic Expansion Valve, however, means that a much smaller portion of the coil is used for superheat, which noticeably increases Rebel efficiency.
